Chupacabras
Well, turns out your dad ain't crazy. The chupacabra does indeed exist...well, sort of. According to the widely trusted and legitimate source of information, Wikipedia, the chupacabra is
Yeah, real helpful right? Basically, it's name translated from Spanish is "goat sucker".
More from Wikipedia:
"The name comes from the animal's reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats. Physical descriptions of the creature vary. Eyewitness sightings have been claimed as early as 1995 in Puerto Rico, and have since been reported as far north as Maine, and as far south as Chile. It is supposedly a heavy creature, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail."
Real helpful physical description too. Not. Here, I've included a picture to make up for the crappy word visual:
Gross, huh? I think this one's dead.
Anyways, as much as your dad tried to scare you about them, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Looks like they are really only after the succulent blood of the goat kind.
Oh hey look, I found this vid!
I love how they won't zoom in on the animal that the orange hat dude is standing by on live video but show a picture instead. Makes me skeptical about this whole finding a chupacabra thing. Plus, can you really trust a man who looks for golf balls for a living?
And on a completely unrelated note, here's a cool vid about a special Minnesota baby:

I
don't want to be here. I will have been here from 7:25am until around 7ish pm..."here" being school.
In other news, my roomie Sarah and I are going to get a cat. Yes, it is illegal in the dorms. No, I don't care. We will name it "Bean" after her bean plant so that when we need to ask if Bean had been fed, we can make it seem like we needed to water the plant. It was either Bean or Shark.

Lady Gaga of the 80's
They are strikingly similar. So Lady Gaga's not so original after all. Best music video ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPn0KFlbqX8

Drunk Kitty....Not so much
Welp, I tried to get the cat drunk tonight. Whiskey, sugar, Water, Dr. Pepper Cherry and a little piece of cheese (oh how he does love cheese!)-all mixed together. Didn't work. He took one sip and shook his head violently and walked away.

Slicedog
Slicedog......or would slicecat be more appropriate for this website?
Also question: So your school allows blogger.com. So could you post info about skinning a cat on our blog and it still be allowed? Not trying to work the system, just innocently wondering.

Here I am...
. . . sitting in my classroom at school writing a blog. (Disclaimer- this is our plan period, so we don't have any students.) This is so weird- being called Ms. Chavez, that is. I had a really good day today and I didn't even teach a lesson. I had very few behavior problems. I got the opportunity to console a girl who was crying. I researched some lesson plan ideas for the unit I will do on The Lightning Thief and now I have some great plans! I found out that my teacher, Mandi, will be taking a sick day on Monday, so I will be THE teacher, not just a student teacher. I'm really excited! . . . Well how does this relate to cats, you ask?
It doesn't. I just haven't posted anything on here for a long long time and I am surprised that the school's website allows blogger.com, but I am not sad about it, that's for sure! It'll give me something else to do on my breaks.
Also, at school, they did something with internet access so that it would not allow such things as pornography, illegal downloading of music or videos, or ways to access information on how to skin a cat. Literally, that was the example given to us.
See ya later!
